Jenna Fischer's most recognizable character is Pam Beesly in the highly popular TV show The Office. The actress won 2 SAG Awards and an Emmy for her exceptional performance in an ensemble comedy.
In Fort Wayne Indiana, she spent most of her childhood living in St. Louis Missouri. Jenna was impressed by her mother's worship services when she first started out.
After wrapping up The Office, Fischer, a theater-trained actress returned to her origins. In the Off-Broadway Play Reasons to be Happy composed by Neil LaBute with Josh Hamilton and Leslie Bibb as co-stars, Fischer starred. Her role was later reprised as the first woman to appear in Steve Martin's newest play Meteor Shower, an absurdist comedy starring Greg Germann and Josh Stamberg, for a record-breaking run on The Old Globe Theatre.
The Office co-star Angela Kinsey and Fischer have launched Office Ladies, a podcast on Earwolf in October 2019. The podcast has been hugely successful, reaching the Top Ten worldwide every week with more than 200 million downloads during the first two years. Office Ladies took home the iHeart Radio Podcast of the Years award in January of 2021.
She's published two books, The Actor's Life, a Survival Guide that outlines her journey to Hollywood as an actor in the field as well as Office BFF's, Tales of The Office from Two Best Friends who were There, a memoir of the best friendship they had and their time watching The Office.
