Annet Mahendru
Mahendru was the child of an Russian mother and Hindu Indian father in Afghanistan. She fluently speaks German Russian English. Annet Mahendru was born to an Indian father as well as mother of a Russian mother. When she was 11 she choreographed and danced in a show that resulted in the honor of a German TV appearance. Her performance included a snow maiden from Russia who transformed into a fun Indian dancer. She finished high school at the age of 11 in New York and received a bachelor of Arts in English at St. John's University. She studied acting classes with the HB Studios. She later left to pursue improvisational comedy at The Groundlings School. Her family was brought up in Kabul Afghanistan by a Hindu/Indian father Ghanshan Mahendru, and an Russian-speaking mother Olga. At the age of 13, parents separated. Her father relocated the family members to East Meadow New York. The role she played on FX's The Americans as Nina Sergeevna Krilova is one of her best TV performance. She had a recurring part in Fox's The Following and NBC's The Blacklist.
