Emily VanCamp

Emily Irene VanCamp, a Canadian actor and actress is famous for her roles as the main character on a number of TV programs as well as her strong performances in movies. Her fan base is large both on American and Canadian TV. When Emily was 12, she began to become fascinated by acting after she visited her older sister Katie while filming one of her films. Once she had realized that acting was her love, she began taking acting classes and attend auditions. After some commercials, which were successful, she was quickly cast in the Canadian children's horror television show Are You terrified to be in the Dark? She was only seen in one scene, without dialog. At the age of 15years old, Emily had her big breakthrough when she became regular on the WB TV program Glory Days. Emily's character was noticed by Greg Berlanti even though the show came to an end with just nine seasons. Greg Berlanti cast Emily as a regular in Everwood. Emily was also a dancer and photographer. Teen once named her as one of the top actors under the age of twenty. In Maxim's Hot 100 2014 list ranked Emily at 51.
